History

History

Around June 1, 1970, a subdivision of futsal was established at football club TYBB. This section consisted mainly of members of the football who also wanted to kick a ball during the week. After some cautious years, the club started to grow, partly due to its own sports hall (opened in 1980).

In those years, the futsal department was part of the omnisports association TYBB. This has been transferred to SV Olympia Haarlem through the merger with DCO, DSC'74 and HIS. The futsal department has gone along with this and has been called v.v. Olympia Haarlem since June 13, 2008.

After years of having a membership freeze, new members are currently welcome again. These can be individual members, but we prefer teams of at least 7 players. If individual members sign up, we will try to place them with the current teams or form a new team. However, we only register a team or member when all data (passport photo, copy of identity document and address details) have been submitted and the contribution has been paid.

We play our home games on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings in the van Turnhouthal in Haarlem.
